OUR PURPOSE:
to win kids to Christ and grow them spiritually!
One of our goals is that all children would know and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior by the time they graduate from our children’s ministry. We also want all children to become students of God’s Word and grow in their faith. Children’s ministry is an important ministry in the church because tomorrow’s church leaders are in our children’s ministry today. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We want to team with parents and raise spiritual champions! By teaching God’s Word in exciting and relevant ways, we believe that God will do a mighty work in the lives of His children.
WEEKLY PROGRAMS
We have many different weekly programs available to help your children in their spiritual development. On Sunday mornings, we have Sunday School that meets at 9:30AM for toddlers through 6th grade. Nursery is provided for ages 36 months and below for both Sunday School and worship services. Children’s Worship Service is offered during our Sunday morning worship service for Kindergarten – 6th graders in the Fellowship hall. We also have a Toddler/Pre-K Worship Service for ages 3 through 5. These two services are geared towards your kids and teaches them the Word of God in a fun and creative way on their level. It’s great and your kids will love it!
On Sunday Nights we have discipleship classes for children ages 4 – 6th grade. Nursery is provided for children under 4 years of age. The focus of our discipleship classes is to help your children get to know God in a more personal way.
Wednesday nights, we offer Word of Life programs, Gopher Buddies & Olympians, for children ages 2 years through 6th grade. Nursery is provided for those under 2 years of age. Wednesday night emphasizes Bible learning and spiritual application as we encourage kids to grow close to God. Wednesday nights are a great time to get your kids plugged into Eastside. We meet at 6:45PM in the Fellowship Hall.
